A "reindex" should set things right. If that didn't work, try a reboot of the player.

I tried both, and the playlist still ignores the delete request.

Actually I meant a "rebuild index', sorry for the confusion.

If no result there, contact Bluesound support for help.

Is rebuilding different from reindex music collection? Where is that option?

Rebuilding will delete the cache and restart a new index.

From memory ( I'm abroad this week) you should find it in >Help>Diagnostics> Rebuild Index.

    Okay, I see it.
I tried, and after about five minutes, it was still on deleting, reindexing, “please wait.”
Rebooted and it said index not deleted.
How long does the process typically take? I may do this when I don’t plan on listening.

Depending upon size of your library, art, connection to library (wifi or cable), etc., this can take between a couple of minutes to more than an hour.

I have about 13k flac files with small size album art and a wifi to my NAS and it takes typically around 10'.

Once launched let it run until finished (white light turns blue again)

And it runs on the background, you can continue listening.

Roger. My library has > 98k flac files, wired to NAS. I’ll let it run overnight. :)

After rebuilding, the playlist still won’t delete.

Now that is weird, are you sure it's a "BluOS" playlist and not some leftover m3u playlist on your source library?

After a rebuild sometimes a reboot is needed.

I'm afraid support needs to step in, send a request from the app so they will get some logs.
