We are always developing the app, continuing to expand on the features and deliver a customized listening experience to those who are living with us in our HiFi Family.

Please understand that no version of the App is the final version and we are always working to improve the experience based on customer feedback. The App itself is always being worked on and updated.

Please rest assured that we will be taking this purposed request and will be forwarding this request to our QA Team as well as the BluOS Development Lab for review.

If there is anything we can help you with please let us know, we are here to help!

I completely agree with this and second this request.
Being able to continue indexing if there are errors is very very important.  then you can look at the errors and address them without losing the valuable time spent to index what is not in error and to have an updated index to the extent that it can be.
an error 9/10 of the way through the index should not be a cause of a failure to get the good content indexed or to even have a music library at all if this on the first go... and to have to go back and do the whole thing again is very frustrating and time consuming.
this is now what i have been experienceing with the pulse flex.

    Hi Mat

Thanks for the feedback. I have passed it on to our QA team to look into ways to improve the experience.

I completely agree also: (210.000 files to index)

    - a clear error report what files are in error, and why

    - skip files in error and continue indexing

    - publish the characters you don't support (a + sign in a directory or file name is not supported)

Thanks, but that "manual" solution is based on programming techniques from before 2000.

In a modern software you don't force an end user to look into a log (that is by default not in log mode) and to find some cryptic errors.

A modern software reports and send a mail with the errors and very important: continue teh indexing!
