Bluos inconsistent volume settings
AnsweredAfter the upgrade to Bluos version 4.4.12, I notice that the volume settings on my NAD M10 v2 are all different, e.g. Spotify plays much louder than for instance Qobuz. Also had problems with the "use this volume" setting with the Tunein radio, they changed in version 4.4.11. Next day I received version 4.4.12, and I had to change the defaults again. Same for the Dirac settings, louder than before...
Can you explain what is going on? Hope to get it fixed soon.
At least more happy with the change in layout, it is more consistent now, and I can choose to view list or grid mode. But not all items are changed in the same direction.

Hi Seppi,
The Dirac issue might have been solved from 4.4.11 to 4.4.12, but NOT the inconsistency in volume between e.g. Spotify and Qobuz. So I am waiting for that fix. Perhaps the lower volume of the optical input can be optimized together with this.

If that helps, I experience these problems with my up-to-date Samsung A55 5G smartphone (android 14 and fully patched).

I am definitely sure that something has changed here, the difference is approx. 6dB!! Please check this.

Still having issues with the volume settings, sometimes the amp starts up with no (or minimum) sound levels. The first volume + step jumps to the minimum level, as set in the amplifier settings.
Question: How can I downgrade the firmware version?
