Can two nodes be used for 2 channel passive speaker setup?

I am trying to place a speaker on each side of a fireplace without running wires in the walls or in front of fireplace. Is there any Bluesound solution? Is it possible to use one node per speaker - one per channel? Would there be syncing issues?

  Hi Birmo,
  
  Please be advised that you will need to connect your NODE to an amplifier then to your passive speakers. With this, you will have more cables in your setup.
  
  You may want to consider POWERNODE to use your passive speakers. And yes, you can group Bluesound players.
