External Hard Drive not recognized

I put some FLAC files on a new hard drive and plugged it into the back of the Node using USB.  I cannot locate the hard drive anywhere in the app.  Is there a trick to getting this to show up?  This is not a hard drive that is on a home network, just a hard drive attached to the Node itself.

  Check the format of the drive, AFAIK the only formats supported are NTFS or FAT32.
