Pulse 2i does not connect through a newly installed access point

I just installed a new TP-Link EAP225 Outdoor access point on my deck. It is hard wired via a PoE cable to my router via a TP-Link SG105PE switch. My Pulse 2i will connect to my Wi-Fi network via my router when I am inside the house, but it does not connect to the new access point on my deck. The SSID and Password for my home network have not changed. I even connected a Ethernet cable to the player and reconfigured the Wi-Fi manually on the player. My smart phones all  connect seamlessly to the new access point.

  The TP-Link SG105PE appears to be a managed switch and likely needs its settings adjusted.

  I would for testing purposes bypass the switch and connect the access point directly to the Router and see if that configuration works.
