BluOS module on NAD C 3050 - mono plays as faux stereo
AnsweredI just got a NAD C 3050 with the BluOS module. I'm trying out some different music, playing via AirPlay, and I notice that it doesn't play mono recordings as mono, but rather as a sort of faux stereo. I've gone into the BluOS app, in the Audio settings, and set the output mode to mono, but it's still faux stereo. What's going on? This is not the way music should be reproduced. This makes me wonder what other processing is occurring with stereo music.

Hi Kirk
The processing you are hearing may be related to your iPhone or iPad causing the issue as this is AirPlay. Try playing something from TuneIn Radio or Radio Paradise in the BluOS App with mono enabled and see if you have the same results. If you do, please select Settings, Send Support Request from the Home tab of the app so our Support Crew can review your log file. They will then be in touch directly with you via e-mail once they review it.

I'm playing from the Apple Music app on my iMac. There is no processing.
