"Grouped Player Connection Failed" behavior
AnsweredHi folks. from time to time I get this error... two Nodes (latest version) connected by gigabit ethernet. Doing a hard reboot of one fixes it. But I want to ask about how BluOS behaves when this happens - instead of playing in the one Node which is up, it simply stops play in both. Can this be changed?

Sounds like a general network lag issue on the secondary streamer. Check out www.bluesound.com/network101 for great tips or select Send Support Request in the BluOS App and our Support Crew can help troubleshoot and make recommendations on how to prevent this from happening in the first place.

Thanks. can't get the network101 link to come up but the two Nodes are connected to the same gigabit switch and ping round trip to each from my laptop is 1ms, consistently, with zero packet loss. In any event: the main purpose of my post was to suggest that the behavior of the Nodes be changed so in the event that one can't reach the other, the default player should continue to play. In my case at least, that would prevent my getting trouble tickets from the spouse. :) Thanks!!
