Bluesound Node Gen1 crash during update: where is the manual firmware download?
AnsweredHi Support Crew,
My Bluesound Node Gen1 crashed during the latest update. I had this before a few years ago, when I could download the firmware manually on your website and flashed the device using the USB port. I cannot find the images anymore.
Can you please provide them?
Kind regards,
Rik

Hi Rick, the downloads were removed from the website quite some time ago now as there were some security issues and Bluesound support wanted visibility of why end users needed to manually update.
In the BluOS App please select Help, Send Support Request so the Bluesound Support Crew can review the log file and take a closer look as to why it’s not updating and you can also request the firmware via this method.

Hi Seppi,
I've tried what you asked for, but the send support request button is not working. The app is just saing 'no player found'. Which makes sense, because the player simply has a red light on and in my router I also see that it is not connecting to my network. Which means it crashed
Last time with this it helped to plug-in the USB with the newest firmware and do a new flash by powering on by pressing the top button.
Please send me the firmware
