When will BluOS finally support Hi-Res Lossless for Apple Music?

As an early adopter and fervent proponent of BluOS, it’s sad to see BluOS continue to fall behind the competition. EverSolo’s A8 provides direct support for Apple Music via its app, and more importantly it supports hi-res lossless tracks. The past excuses the Apple has technical barriers to achieving this support seems no longer valid if EverSolo offers such support. When can we expect similar support in BluOS?

  Eversolo is running Android and the Apple Music app, it’s also the only device that supports the hi resolution tracks that I know of. Bluesound does not run Android hence cannot run the Music app like the Eversolo.

  Bluesound also don’t publish a roadmap so sorry you won’t get a direct answer about it. There are many posts on HiFi forums from users across multiple hardware platforms all trying to use Apple Music so your frustration is not just limited to BluOS hardware.
