Album Art will not load
AnsweredSeveral titles load all of the metadata correctly except for album art. So I purchased an app called Metadatics to assist. I studied the requirements for art, i.e. must be perfectly square, .jpg format, less than 11mb, etc. I am able to burrow into the Vault 2i and locate the album, and I save the scanned art, close the app, and eject the player. I then use the BluOS Controller to update the library. In other words, I follow the procedure to the letter and still, some art will not attach to the files. What can I do to solve the problem??

Try using “Rebuild Index”, takes longer but purges your library and creates a new one… hopefully with the correct artwork.

11MB!? Used to be 600KB - I realise these restrictions have been lifted a bit, but try experimenting with reducing that. There are also resolution considerations, try restricting (for now) to, say, 500x500 and just seeing if it works.
As @Seppi says, you'll need a rebuild after each change.
You mention it's a scan - these could produce very large files with more... exotic... JPEG parameters than you expect (progressive, DPI etc).

Just for reference… artwork requirements

Yes - there's no mention of 11MB there. 4MB at the absolute most so that the software will attempt a resize.
The reason for these limits is often that the software doesn't have enough memory allocated to read in the entire image - even though it's only (say) 11MB on disk it can be far larger in memory, depending on the software used.

4MB at the absolute most
Confirmed 4096kb is the absolute limit - more than that and it is ignored completely...

I can't get album art to load at all. Tried rebuilding the index, tried reloading album art, turned optimization off and on. Very frustrated.

Hi Steve, artwork can be very frustrating to make work but once you know how to do it it’s second nature. There is a help article with some basic requirements and limitations.
If you continue to struggle there is an App called Bliss that will do all the work for you and runs on many platforms.
In any case after making changed it’s “Rebuild Index” that required.
It might be an idea to literally put one album onto a USB memory stick and plug that into your Bluesound player, this way it quick to move back to a computer and fast on the indexing.
