Album art sometimes not displayed correctly in app in contradiction with the NAD M33
AnsweredHope that this is the correct forum for questions about a NAD M33 as well.
Since a few weeks I own a NAD M33. As you know the M33 has embedded BluOS. I have a few hundred FLAC-files on an USB-stick with embedded album artwork. All artwork is JPG of about 600x600 pixels. So nothing extraordinary.
What happens is that when there are more songs from the same artist on the stick the M33 displays the correct cover art but the app shows the same cover art for all songs from that same artist.
Regards,
Han.
BTW Is it just me or is the support at support@nadelectronics.com always terrible?

I have an M33 and don't have the issue of incorrect album art display. In my case the files are stored on a NAS and, for most albums, artwork which meets the size requirements is stored as cover.jpg in the folder containing the album tracks. In other cases the artwork has been embedded when the album was ripped (old iTunes) or purchased.
I've found the cover.jpg (or folder.jpg) method bulletproof for display.

I think I have to clarify my case a bit. In my case I have a few hundred songs in one folder on a USB-stick. The songs do not belong to an album, say they are all singles. All songs have the following embedded tags:
- Artist
- Title
- Album art (600x600 JPG)
Therefore I don't use any folder.jpg or cover.jpg.
The M33 always shows the correct artwork on its display when a song is being played. But in the case where there are multiple songs of the same artist in the folder, the app shows the same artwork for all songs from that artist.

Hi Seppi,
There are no JPGs in the folder, I'm sure of that. Are you suggesting to switch from USB-stick to NAS?
