Network File Sharing (macOS) - adding a Network Share not working

hi all. I've just bought my first Bluesound Node N130, and I have successfully it set up and have it running with Spotify, Airplay and Bluetooth. Using the internal DAC, and feeding a Naim amplifier.

"Manually Add A Network Share" is simply not working! No matter what I try, I simply cannot get the Node to handshake with my Mac mini where my ripped CD music library is stored (iTunes folder) and always receive the "No Shares Found" message of doom. Mac is an up to date M1 Mini running Sonoma.

I've been trying to get this working on and off for a couple of days now, and it is proving infuriating beyond belief. I've followed these instructions..

But it is still not working, so any help most welcome indeed. Please!

  Many thanks! Yes, i've just done that via a remote screen share, I think the issue has been resolved. The File Share has been added, and the Node is busy indexing the music files. Hopefully this has done the trick!
