    Hi Mark

Sounds like your new phone has Network Device Permissions turned off or disabled in the Apps of Android's Settings. If you are having issues locating that, our Support Crew can help at support@bluesound.com

The 'solution' Tony gives does allow the node to be recognized by my new phone as long as I restart the phone every time I want it to function - just one time, with one action. Otherwise the bluos app gets stuck on an endless cycle of messages saying 'couldn't load content' 'try again'. Seamlessly connecting? Once again, no. Wondering how many hoops to jump through to make the promise of Seamlessly connecting to come true with my new phone. I'm still having to rely on my legacy Android phone to connect to bluos.
