I think I'm in agreement with much of what you have suggested, but I think you'd be more successfull if the features were presented to bluesound as seperate items. Bluesound could be called out for not allowing more convenient restarting after sleep, poweron, etc (so more users may use sleep rather than leaving powered on)

On the more broad citicism of Bluesound ignoring user requests on many fronts I can only concur. Very poor, this is frustrating as I rate the product generaly. Personnaly I'd appreciate better configuration of the search facility which does not allow access to meta tags, etc So, for instance,  I can't separate classical music from contemporary by accessing the genre tag (I think this may be item 3 in your list)

    Cheers

    Thank you for your support...

I am replying here, as I may have help with regard to selecting music genre's, apologies if I have missed your point

The Bluesound system, uses the tracks existing music genre, and I have found that tags get set very mixed names

So I used 'mp3tag' (on a 'de' website) very useful indeed, you can edit mp3 tags in a spreadsheet way, Once the tags have been set to your liking, then just reindex the music collection on the Bluesound app

You will find then that the genres are as you want them

    Hope this helps

    Malcolm,

Ahhhh. I was wondering why some of my 'Contemporary' stuff got mixed with my 'Classical' stuff. I'll check the consistency of tag settings.  Yes MP3TAG is a superb tool and I used to use its script capability as part of my post ripping process for FLACs. Don't need to do that now as dbpoweramp allows the same things to be done during the rip. I have a Contemporary script and a Classical script which can be selected in dbpoweramp prior to starting a series of rips.

I still use MP3TAG for maintenance . . such as what you have just suggested. Florian, the developer seems a bit of a character and sends an annual news letter to registered users . . . its a bit of a wierd read sometimes.

I'll check my tags, reindex and see what occurs, thnaks for the heads up.

    Regards

    Trevor
