Add a player is for a brand new or factory reset player, yours is “used” so follow the “Wireless Setup over Ethernet” section when it’s connected via Ethernet.

Hi Larry, when wired to your Router did you change the Wi-Fi setting in the BluOS App? Guessing your neighbour had to connect to his WiFi SSID which would be different to yours?

No. I did not change any settings. it just worked. I didn’t have to do anything. The BS app saw it and I was able to play my music through it.

If you want to use wi-fi you will need to check the entry in the BluOS App.

I really appreciate your trying to help. However, I have no idea how to “check the entry in my blue OS app.” When I click on “players” it does not appear in the list. Only my vault and my pulse speaker are listed. When I click on “add a player“ it tells me to go into my WiFi settings on my iPad and the node should appear there, but it doesn’t.

Seppi. The “wireless set up over ethernet“ worked. Thank you so much!
