Subwoofer question

Hi,

I have been using the Bluesound Node 130 for almost two years now and I am quite happy with it. It is connected to my Yamaha Amplifier using the analogue outputs. My subwoofer is connected to the Yamaha.

It occurred to me all of a sudden that I could also connect the subwoofer directly to the Bluesound Node. Never really realised this before! My question is: would this be a better option or doesn't it make any difference?

  I would probably leave it connected to the Yamaha for the sole reason it’s your amplifier and then would also work with any other sources connected to the amp.
