Ghost album

I ripped an double cd on Vault 2i and it created both discs as a different wrong album. I renamed the two folders as album name (disc 1 and 2) and then used mp3tag to correct the tags. Both discs, with correct album art and correct track list appeared after reindex in bluos app. The problem is that the original ones are also there with out any songs or album covers. Is there a way to get rid of these. I have done the reindex multiple times afterwords with to improvement.
