Node 2i does not play Qobuz Hi Res >96KHz files (no sound)
AnsweredHello Bluesound Support,
My Bluesound Node 2i does not output sound when streaming Qobuz Hi-Res files greater than 96KHz.
Using Node 2i Dig Coax output connected to an Oppo BDP-105D Dig Coax input.
Have not tried using the Node 2i DAC and running analog outputs to my preamp (Linn Kairn). Preference is to use the BPD-105D DAC though I’ll change if this does the trick.
Bluesound Node 2i is setup for 24bit/192KHz (photo below).
BluOS 4.2.10
iOS App 4.2.2
Using iPad as controller. Tried 2 iPads and iPhone with the same result.
iPad A1893 (6th Gen)
iPad A2696 (10th Gen)
iPhone 12 Mini
Did not have any issue when streaming Qobuz (24bit/192KHz) via a laptop USB connected to the Oppo BDP-105D USB Dig input.
Thanks,
FAL

Copy/Paste from the Oppo user manual:
The BDP-105 supports up to 2ch/192kHz PCM signal through its USB audio input, and up to2ch/96kHz PCM, Dolby Digital, DTS and AAC signal through its Optical and Coaxial audio inputs. -
Hello Bjørn,
Thanks! You are correct....my bad....
Will switch to using analog outputs.
May sell the Node 2i and purchase a Node (N130) or Node X (N131) when USB Dig Out is supported.
