Autofill from middle of album
AnsweredI would like to see Autofill work from the middle of an album, and not just from the beginning.
In other words, if I were to select a track from the middle of an album, it would fill in the rest. If I’m not mistaken, that’s the way it used to work before ver. 4.
Now, if I want to pick up where I left off listening, I have to remember to do so from the play queue and not the album itself. If I do it wrong, then I have to go back to the album (which may have already disappeared), start from the beginning, stop it, go to the queue again, then scroll down to find the track and play it.
Why, you might ask, am I displaying the album view and not the play queue? Metadata. The album view is the only one that tells me how long the rest of the album is. Also, in services such as Idagio, the album view is the only place that tells you the actual piece you are listening to (not just the track info)
I realize that this is probably only a concern for those of us who listen to whole albums rather than shuffling tracks (mainly jazz and classical listeners, I suppose), but I really think we ought to have the option for Autofill to work this way.

I couldn't agree more! If I play track 5 of a 10-track album, autofill enables playing tracks 6-10, but I cannot go back to any of the tracks 1-4 without going back to the album. I would expect tracks 1-5 to be loaded in the play queue, track 5 to be played, and tracks 6-10 to autofilled. Other apps I use for music playback (JRiver, Musicolet) work that way. Please change this behaviour or create a playback option "Play album starting with this track" that would do the job.
Regards, Martin.
