The experience would be the same as if the DAC was not MQA certified. You will be limited to two unfolds up to 24/96 playback and not experience the full playback quality.

I'm asking because I want to use the internal DAC of my magnat ma 900 but keep the volume control in the bluOs / Tidal app.

    My opinion - Fantastic!

But that is for YOUR ears to decide...

    Tnx Tony
After testings today I fully agree with you.
Is there a chance this mandatory configuration of fixed volume would be changed, so I can enjoy limitless MQA?

Turn on your MQA DAC in the Audio Settings of the NODE if your DAC supports MQA...  or use the RCA outs in your NODE directly with your amplifier...

sorry Tony i didn't get it. rca outs would use the node dac.
set the external dac on the bluos required the fix volume issue.
so the node is connected digitally to my magnat ma900 via the coax out
and according to your previous explenation i'm not enjoy the full mqa
    what am i missing?

The DAC of your amplifier does not appear to support MQA.

If you want full MQA playback, please connect the NODE to the analogue RCA Line Outs into a line in of your amplifier. Since your DAC does not support MQA, you will not get full MQA using COAX.
