    Hi Robert

The Choice is yours. If you use the RCA Analogue outputs, you will be using our on board 24/192 HiRes DAC. if you use the optical out, you will bypass our DAC and use that of the Onkyo.

If you are happy with what you are hearing, then enjoy.

I plan to "serve" two distinct stereo systems from my soon to be purchased Node. Not at the same time as they are in the same room (one is tube based, the other is solid state).

If I run RCA cables from the analog outs of the Node to one system and the toslink output to the other will I have to disable the Nodes internal dac to enable the digital output to my dac?

Again, I'm not trying to run two set-ups at once. Just wonder if the Node can stay connected both ways and serve whichever one I turn on.

The analogue and digital outputs are all live, so that will work.
