    Hi Johan

When switching between wired and wireless connections, we do recommend rebooting or power cycling your Player.

If you are simply plugging in and out, you are throwing your Player and router discovery off. It may take as long as 5 minutes for your entire system (Player, Router, any Network Repeaters and App) so establish and understand the IP Address of your Player changed when you moved from wired to wireless communication. You may even see a period in the App when both are appearing so the same player appears twice.

Thx, I already did a factory reset. As soon the player comes up the light turns blue with the Ethernet connection, but I am still not able to found it on my IPad/. iPhone. After disconnecting the Ethernet cable I can restore my connection

    Hi Johan

No need to Factory Reset - that being said, please see www.bluesound.com/setup and under a wired connection, check Needs Setup... but again, you need to see it in the App.

Also, review your router documentation and see if it is blocking multicast or mDNS with wired but not wireless connections. Most IoT devices are wireless so...  I'd also review any IGMP settings the router may have.

Our Support Crew can help with this if you e-mail them at support@bluesound.com. Be sure to tell them the make and model of the router. If it is supplied by your Telco our Internet Service Provider, please let them know the ISP name and country and region you ar located in.
