External DAC's not able to decode sound format from TuneIn (danish regional radio channels)
AnsweredHi,
Until recently I was able to send TuneIn Radio to my Marantz SA-12SE and SA10 via optical cabels. My Marantz players can no longer recognize the signal/format. I also have a Denon DNP-2000NE and it can still recieve and recognize the signal/format.
I use a Node X with all three DAC's and when playing the TuneIn Radio directly on the Node X through the amplifiers it's working (but not when sending the digital signal through an optical cabel to the Marantz (SA-12SE and SA10) from the Node X - It was working in the past).
DR P2 is still working via my DAC, but not DR P3, P4, P5 and P6. I realise it's difficult to test unless you have the radio chanels available in TuneIn.
Android App: 4.2.3 - Build Number 2861 - BluOS 4.2.10.
No issue with MQA, FLAC or WAV files.
Best Regards
Karsten

HI Karsten
No changes were made to DSP. It is more likely something changed in the Radio Stream. Check and see if an alternate stream is available. Here's how; https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360000261928

Hi Tony,
Same result I'm afraid with thoose specifik radio channels. But no worries I will just listen to them directly from my Node X :)
Thank you and have a nice day.Karsten

I solved it by changing to coaxial from optical in another context (needed more bandwith to play flac 24bit/192kHz via Tidal Connect).
