Hello so I got a bluesound node today in the mail, I hooked it up with rca cables to my marantz SR5011 receiver but I can't figure out how to control the volume with my receiver?? I only get sound coming out of my speakers if I connect it to the component video out rca jacks on the marantz. I can control the volume with the blesound node app the little slider but that doesn't play the music loud enough through my big tower speakers what in heavens name could I be doing wrong? Or can you not control volume with your amp? hoping someone reads this tks

Have a look at the table on page 185 https://www.marantz.com/-/media/files/documentmaster/marantzna/us/mz_sr5011_om_u_en_v00a.pdf and ensure your input source CD is assigned to analog 4. (Should not be needed, but perhaps clear OPT2 from the digital column.)

Hi Randy,
I'd suggest you connect the player to the audio in section of your avr (cbl/sat, dvd, game, or cd) and have the player's volume set to fixed (change this in the player's audio settings). Then only use the Marantz remote to control volume.

Please i don’t understand what you mean ? i have the marantz sr5011 im using rca cables are you saying i should plug in a hdmi into one of the hdmi ports ? I tried plugging in the rca cables to the rca CD port but i get no sound i just can’t thank you enough for responding back so quickly but i need you to be extremely specific please 🙏

I connected to audio in /Cd section red and white rca then i turn the dial on the a/V to CD but i get no sound but i think that dial only works when i have things plugged into the hdmi i think i just don’t know im sorry im so confused
