Pulse 2i + Windows controller mind numbingly slow

When I start the Windows controller it takes almost 15 seconds for it to find my Pulse 2i. Switching from internet radio to USB playback is even worse, there's almost a 30 second delay before the music starts. I've re-installed the controller and there's nothing wrong with my wired connection. Mind you, this doesn't happen with my Node N130 using the Windows controller so this is a problem specific to the Pulse 2i and Windows controller.

Since it does not happen with the NODE and only the PULSE, this would imply an issue with the PULSE's network connectivity. If it is wireless, check the signal strength. If it's wired, change the cable.

It's a wired connection with a known good cable. Also, there's no delay when I use the Android app to control the Pulse 2i. It's a Windows controller specific problem and it's gotten so bad now I've completely stopped using the Pulse. It's just not fun when I have to wait 10 seconds or longer when I switch from internet radio to USB and then have to wait another 10 seconds or longer for a track to start playing. On top of that, there's also a long delay when I switch albums. It's completely messed up and I'm probably going to sell my Pulse because I'm fucking done having to deal with this and there's no end in sight.

Nico, you could try using a different Ethernet lead and another port on your Router, if using a switch again try a different port and if it’s a managed switch then look at the configuration.
As a further test you could try Wi-Fi.
