    Hi,

I experienced the same problem. The vault stopped encoding and the new tracks keep lining up in the rips folder. Is there any solution without deleting all the files as described above so the vault will start to encode again. Somehow I have to say, that I'm quite unsatisfied with the vault by now. From not accepting CDs when inserted for the first time, no possibility to shut down the vault up to problems with encoding I have the feeling it's not really developed.

I hope there will be at least a solution for the described problem. Thanks for response.

    Hi Werner,

if this happens again, try to delete just the oldest wav file in the rips folder (The one the vault wasn't able to encode), and then restart the vault by plugging out the power cable. For me this worked fine as the vault started encoding the remaining songs.

    Patrick,

thank you very much, this makes sense and I will try next time (though hopefully will not need to... at the moment ripping goes well). Of course, the annoying backup lock-in remains.
