    Hi David,

    I will try to list the differences from the Node 2 and the Node(as well as the Wireless).

    The differences between the Node 2 and Node are as follows;

    1) We have added a sub woofer out
    2) We have added COAX out allowing you to choose from optical or COAX if connecting to a DAC
    3) We have integrated Bluetooth directly into the Player so it no longer needs to use up a USB port permanently with a Bluetooth adapter
    4) We have increased the throughput of the network card from 100BaseT to full GigE
    5) We have added a Line in for either optical or analogue devices
    6) The player includes an IR sensor now which can be programmed using a TV remote to control Volume or next/previous track
    7) We have integrated the power supply for a more attractive and less cumbersome power cable
    8) Added a Headphone 3.5mm Stereo Jack on the front of the Node 2

    9) The Wireless Card changed from 802.11n to 802.11 b/g/n - This essentially means more compatibility for routers and network setup.

    Please check this very knowledgeable page for more details on this - http://compnetworking.about.com/cs/wireless80211/a/aa80211standard.htm

    We did this all while keeping our software simple to use and backwards compatible to be used alongside any existing Bluesound Players you already have in your home for a true multiroom experience.
