    Yes the BluOS App.

Once a HDMI lead is connected (firmly pushed in at both ends) it should appear in the list of services etc. This support document should help and do check out the link at the bottom of the page to switch to the TV input automatically.

NB inputs can be hidden using the App so do double check.

In BluOS once connected you would just select the HDMI input and audio will play.

The TV needs to be set to 2 Chanel PCM (stereo) output, have a dig in the settings. On my TV I have select external Home Theatre to enable audio to route out of the TVs ARC port.

    Hi Seppi,..
Thank you for the quick response…
for clarity when you mean connected in BluOS just select HDMI input you mean via the BlueOS app either from iOS or Desktop?
If so, I’ve truged around the blueOS app on my apple phone and I cant find input.
Can you help point me to it?

    Thanks

Try this but if still no joy you will have to speak to Sony and / or log a support ticket with Bluesound.

Disconnect everything from the TV and unplug the Bluesound device and TV from power for a couple of minutes. Plug everything back in but keep everything disconnected. Make sure Bravia Sync is enabled in the TV settings. Now connect the HDMI lead to the correct ARC port on the TV and your Bluesound device.

    @Hi-Rez,

Wanted to reach out and let you know that I've been able to solve my problem.

Ended up being something about enabling ECM.

I have no idea what that is but at some point during the troubleshooting in the TV's settings a pop up displayed a vauge message that mentioned ECM and at some point in the TV's settings I encountered an slider with the label ECM so I tried and dammed it worked.

    Progress!!!!!

Now on to the next challenge, ... need to learn how to adjust my BlueSounds capability so that it can stream 24-Bit/96kHz

    Dave

Great news on the TV, as for hires as long as the source is hires Bluesound will play upto 24/192 without any settings being made with the exception of some streaming service where you choose bitrate when you login to the streaming service.
