    Start by checking out our support article for connecting a Synology DiskStation with Bluesound:

    SMB sharing works typically on a "\\ComputerName\ShareName " basis, where ComputerName is your Netbios name(or try the IP address of the Synology) and ShareName is the folder you want to share (e.g. \\diskstation\music).

    Hi,Thanks for your help

    I read again support article for connecting a Synology

    Launch Sinology Control panel=>ok
    Select File Services=>ok
    Select Win/Mac/NFS and verify that the Windows File Service is enabled=>and active
    Select User and verify that the guest account is enabled and in “Normal” status. It will be disabled by default=>and active
    Select Shared Folder=>ok
    Select the Folder you are looking to share and click Edit=>ok
    Under Permissions, ensure that Read Only or Read/Write access is selected for the user guest=>Read/write is selected for the user guest
    Press OK and close the Control Panel=>ok

    i try with shares name

    \\ip\\DiskStation\music =no found

    \\DiskStation\music =no found

    \\DiskStation\Music = no found

    \\share name that I use for connection from iMac to synology\Music =no found

    does not work

    Blue sound nod 2 and connected to the network via RJ45 cable flashes orange => its normal ?

    Try the manual share path with your admin username and password.

    I go in control panel=>Configure Network Shares=>Find network shares=>

    Enter share name manually,as in the screenshot below I try all the combinations request => nothing

    My nas and synology ds 215J update

    Hi Loubloum,

    The best way is for us is to look at your player's diagnostics. Can you 'Send Support Request' (under Configure Player) through your Bluesound app, it'll send us a diagnostics log together with the request?

    In your examples you tried the "ip" with "DiskStation". Try the ip-address without "DiskStation". Like this: \\ip\Music. Don't forget user name and password.
