    Hi Anders,

Our USB ports are 2.0, so the transfer rate will be up to 480Mbps.

This is why you can't get the Hard Drive to connect to the Node 2, everything else you mentioned is good but for added measure make sure the External Drive is formatted as an NTFS file system(most are) or FAT32.

Try a USB 2.0 External and everything should work as usual.

I have precisely the same problem and what I can understand from the answer below the Samsung SSD will not (never) work in combination with the Node2. That's really disappointing.

    Paul,

I don´t believe that is correct. Everything is now working perfect for me.

My Samsung T1 SSD was formatted in exfat. I connected it to my mac, and used the disc utility to format in fat 32 (MS-DOS fat). I then loaded all my music to the SSD and connected it to the NODE2. It used about 5-10 minutes (14000 tracks) to index the music. Everything is now working fine.

I would try to format your drive in fat32 if you haven´t tried.

    Good luck!

    Hi Anders,
Thanks. I've formatted my T1 again, this time NFTS and the Node2 indeed recognizes it. However, even after two hours indexing wasn't finished, so I put the T1 back into my Oppo. The Node2 is then just for Qobuz.

    Paul
