Vault in Home Theater (answer: Not possible)
AnsweredHi,
I've been reading a couple of posts in this matter, but can't really find a concluding answer. Can the Vault be used as a "node" in a Home Theater setup? Its not listed in this article, What players are compatible with Home Theater Grouping? – The BluOS Support Crew, but you also say (in other post) that it mainly shares the hardware with products that actually are listed (e.g. PowerNode. Depending on versions to compare of course where some having the amplifier built in) I figure it may have support anyhow? In a later FW maybe?
I'm rocking a PowerNode 2i (w. HDMI) for stereo experience (both music and TV). Very glad how it performed past years, and still do.(Just some hiccups with network connections, most solved when switching to a decent Ubiquity setup)
So, when buying a Vault (currently looking at second hand Vault 2). Can I expect it to act as part of the home theater, e.g. rear channels, as well as grouping it in multi-room configurations after connecting it to the network?

Hi Johannes
As suggested in the Help Centre Article, only certain players can be used in a Home Theatre Group. The VAULT is not one of them.
