Volume jumping in big steps is often a communication issue, commands issued from the BluOs app are probably not getting to and from your POWERNODE in a timely manner. I would suggest powercycling your Router and then once back up and running reboot your POWERNODE (Reboot option in BluOS App).

If this does not help you will need to raise a support ticket via the App so support can examine your logs.

It’s a discrete digital amplifier. Unplug the speakers. Leave the ac plug out for half an hour then rewire the speakers (make sure you have the correct terminals per speaker connected), minus and plus and the left/right sets. Plug it in. Disable the replay gain. Play some music through BluOS (not Airplay or such as that uses the volume of the phone) It should wotk now. If not: return the node.

Thanks for the tips.  I will see if any of the suggestions work this out.  I do have a support ticket in, but have not gotten a response from BlueSound.  Based on some things that I am reading and my current (and past) experience, I get the sense that support from Bluesound is pretty weak at this stage of the game.  It seems like they are relying on crowdsourcing their support to forums for the majority of the support.  Somewhat ironic, considering they shut down their own message board forum that was quite active and helpful.
