I set up my Bluesound (Powernode 2) a couple of days ago, and I'm showing an awful lot of files under 'unknown' in the Album view. Thought I had all my metadata sorted out but... apparently not.
My music is all stored as .flac files on a Synology NAS.
I started using Metadatics to sort out the metadata. All going well so far, but some pure duplicate files, I've just deleted. I think I deleted them through the Metadatics file interface rather than through the standard Finder interface, and I'm not convinced that that resulted in deleting them properly.
Problem is that the Bluesound is still showing up two files that I deleted. I cannot find them anywhere. I don't understand how it's showing them up. I've checked the places on the NAS that it thinks it's pointing to: nothing. I've shown hidden files in Finder: nothing. I've reindexed: nothing. I've deleted various DS_Store files: nothing. The NAS doesn't have recycle bins switched on, so they can't be lurking there, but I emptied them anyway. Nothing.
Just don't understand where the Bluesound is finding them. Presumably some out-of-date index file somewhere that wasn't updated properly when I deleted the files via Metadatics rather than Finder.
