Radio Paradise delays: current playing song gets updated after 2 minutes
AnsweredWhen RP goes to the next song in their playlist, both my Mac and Android controller keeps showing the previous song for about 2 minutes. This is confusing when I want to like or look at an unknown song i'm hearing and the controller shows the previous song. Edit: happens on ipad too. All three controllers switch to the correct songs after about 2 minutes... when i manually skip to next song, the display updates immediately.

I reported this over a year ago and got the usual support response that I needed to reboot my Node and Router, which made no difference. I submitted logs but never got any further. The track playing as shown on the screen also starts to lag after listening for some time, and it can also "stick" for several subsequent tracks after using the like or dislike buttons.
It may be worth bringing this up on the Radio Paradise forums. They seem more responsive and proactive. -
Thanks Phil! Ah yes, the good old "reboot everything you can in your house" mantra... Good to know I'm not the only one. I'll try posting on the RP forum!

On my android and windows controllers, the artwork changes even before the 'previous' song has completely ended.
I wonder if you have set up an account, and are making frequent use of the 'thumbs up' and 'thumbs down' icons? This screws up the artwork completely, unless you 'pause' and 'play' quickly - then the proper artwork is restored.
I really enjoy RP and appreciate the integration, however there is *much* more to be found on their app. Unfortunately, BS does not support the full 'app' features, and probably never will. I reported the artwork issue years ago, and nothing has been done; a search will turn up previous discussions on this subject. Nobody at BS cares.
