    Great news Maciej - I will bring this to QA's attention to figure out why the Registry Key is not updating.

    To everyone else out there - Touching your Windows Registry is not for the faint of heart. Please e-mail us at support@bluesound.com and we will help you.

  • Hi Matthew

    Do you have a Surface or a Surface Pro - the Bluesound App does not work on some older Surface models. As for the Windows Desktop, please restart Windows and let us know if it is still crashing at boot.

    I have a MS surface pro and windows 7 64it desktop. The latest update 213 does not even open on both devices. check the forum, many other users are reporting the same problem. I have reinstalled, restarted, done it all and it does not load In task manager, the Bluesound App is not loaded at all or if it does it is very briefly.

  • Hi Matthew

    Hi All

    Thank you for your patience;

    If you continue to have problems with Bluesound App for Windows, please perform these steps;
    1) Delete directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Bluesound and all it's contents
    2) Install the Bluesound App for Windows build 213 from http:\www.bluesound.com\downloads
    3) Before running but after installation, please verify that C++ 2013 is installed.

    Please keep us posted and thanks for #LivingHiFi

    I also can't open the Bluesound App (build 213) on my Windows 7 64 PC. I have reinstalled, restarted, done it all and it does load In task manager for one second and disappears ...
    C++ 2013 12.0.30501 is installed

    Hello Matthew,

    We have ran into this issue, in which the desktop app could not be opened, after messing around with some settings on our Windows Computers.

    Try these steps, which we used to resolve this:

    Thx for help
    The installation file to which you gave me the link (older build 1.7.77) is broken but i found the solution:
    - Uninstall the Windows Desktop App
    - remove the key
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Bluesound\Bluesound Controller
    - Install build 213 again :)
