Hi Jason, I had the same issue this week at a customer's house, we seem to have resolved it by changing his modem. He didn't have login info for the modem but did have a spare one available, so while it has resolved the problem, unfortunately it means I don't know what the specific cause was in his network set up. Hopefully you have a fix already, but if not, it might be something in your network rather than on the Mac that needs addressing.

Hi! Similar problems here, I managed to get this working using IP address instead of computer name on Yosemite 10.10.4. Hope this helps.

Same Problem here. There is nothing to do with Modem as I am able to share every single folder on the iMac and they can be seen/accessible from a windows or another mac os within the same network. Technically files are being shared. there is no restriction as every single person can access via network. Why Bluesound cant see it ?

I also bridge the modem and used a different router - no change. Bluesound software and app need a major upgrade.  Better interface , fixes for network share etc.

Hello - I am having this same issue.  I am a new customer.   BS desktop app on MacOS 10.13.1.  (Same issues with iOS, by the way).

    1) Try to find Shared Network, can't find it.

    2) Try to enter manual computer address/name, get "Network Share Failed" message.

    3) Have updated all network and sharing settings per the BS PDF instructions that are posted online.

    4) Have reset the modem, computer, and BS device to no avail.

    5) BS, iOS, and MacOS are all connected to the same SSID in the network.

Hi Tony W - I tried the Terminal command.  Not sure if it did anything.  There's no "feedback".

Either way, same error: "Mounting share failed"

    I am using \\MACNAME\Music\iTunes

Is this correct?  Do I need a username and password?

If there is no feedback, that is generally a good thing. Restart your Mac now. If it still fails, please select Help, Send Support Request in your Mobile App so we may see the log file.

    Thanks Brian

Tony W - Restarted computer again and no change.  I tried from both OSX and iOS.  Sent help request.  Note, I don't see a help request option in the desktop app.
