    Hi Torsten

Please contact us at support@bluesound.com or by selecting Send Support Request in the App and we will review and make a recommendation for you. As you can see from Paul we were able to get him back up and running.

We do here about problems with the Optical Drive as it is the only moving part in our Bluesound Players but are happy to review and resolve via warranty.

    Thanks for #LivingHiFi

    Greetings from Australia
There is obviously a significant issue with the CD mechanisms initially installed into the K3 and K4 serial number vaults. Took delivery of one before XMas 2014 and ripped about 100 CDs then as per Torsten about 1 in 5 was accepted. Returned unit after advice from Support. Brand new K4 serial, went faultlessly for about 60 CDs then the CD transport failed completely and sounded like it was not even spinning the CD. Support advice conceded "We've reviewed your case and there seem to be a hardware issue with your Vault " Returned this one to the dealer, who remembered my name this time, to be greeted with "Ahh yes we've got one in from last week they are putting in Teac units, will fix all the problems" No mention of this from Support which is a pity because I was going to ask for my money back but got the confidence - from the local dealer- to hang in. Great units Bluesound but I would have appreciated some forthright advice on what is a pretty fatal, and obviously widespread, problem pp

Hey Paul, thanks for tuning in! I will check the serial number. There is "wstarz" with similar problems (K38V500W02514). I think i have to contact my local dealer as well. Greetz from Germany

    Hi All,

I also had the same problem reading CDs after the first 50 or so. Bluesound identified the problem as hardware and my dealer instantly responded with a replacement Vault. However my mew Vault still has a K4 serial number. Should I anticipate needing another replacement?

Otherwise the Bluesound Vault is performing at a very high audiophile level. I am using a high end optical cable and I have replaced the wall wart with an audiophile grade power supply.
