I am connecting a Node directly to a power amplifier and using the volume control on the Node to regulate the output from the power amp, which works fine.
The issue is that there is very little in the way of control of the volume with this specific setup (four or five increments on the volume control and the output is at what I would consider maximum listening levels). This means it is very easy to 'slip' and produce massive volumes and also that the volume levels are very 'quantised'.
It is possible to adjust the 'scale' of the volume control on the Node so it is less prone to excessive volumes (i.e. have the adjustment currently provided by the first quarter of the 'slider' scaled so that adjustment is effected over the whole length of the slider)
Also, (although I suspect this is more of a hardware limitation), is it possible to make the volume control more granular at the bottom end (to give me more useable volume steps in the situation I described above)?
I am using generally using Android devices to control my Nodes
