    Hello Air100,

    Thank you for your feedback.

We've taken record of your request, and we've forwarded it to a report to the Bluesound Lab for consideration.

On another note, if you are looking at ways to fine tune Volume, this article mentions some other ways to dial volume that may be helpful:

    Thanks for #LivingHiFi.

    Hello Air100,

The Volume Slider on your Bluesound App adjusts to a numbered range between 0 to 100.

To confirm, you would be looking for a way to set Top and Bottom limits for Volume, so your adjustments would be in ranges like 20 to 80, or 0 to 50, correct?

Let us know if this sounds right, and we will pass this onto our Bluesound Lab.

Yes, setting the top and bottom limits (and then making that the range over which the whole slider works) sounds ideal. Also, if the 'step size' is not already 1 unit, then making that variable would be great i.e. for the current range of 0-100, the slider might move in increments of 4 (for example), I would like it to be as small as possible; I would probably set the range to be 0-10 and would like the sliders to move in increments of 1 (or less if that makes sense to the hardware).

I've got the same issue. It is indeed very hard to set the volume low when you have connected the Node directly on the power amp. Sometimes I'm just not able to set the volume just right on the low volume range, the steps are too big and there is too little way to control the volume, just like air100 explained. I hope you guys can fix this issue soon.

Has there been any development on this issue?

I use the Bluesound Node directly as amp, and only the lowest 4 levels of volume are tolerable when the kids are sleeping. Even during the day time I have never had the volume higher than 8... This means that there is a huge range of volume slider I don't use, but the little part that I do use, is VERY sensitive, with big differences in volume between each step.

The proposed solution with a setting to cap the max volume of the amp to, say 20% of max output, would be ideel, allowing us to use more of the slider for greater resolution when setting output volume.
