    Hello Jonas,

Bluesound does not save any songs from streaming services.

If your Bluesound player is connected to the Hotspot WiFi Address from your phone, it is going to stream your songs from the WiMP servers normally.

Your best workaround would be to use a Bluetooth USB Adapter, to stream your offline content from your Phone's Storage to Bluesound.

See this article here for more details:

Thank you for the quick response - it sounds a bit backwards, but i suppose that is the downside of having a primarily streaming based system - such is the facts of life. Just two followups - if i manage to stream through the bluetooth from my computer that would 1) be via the original WiMP application and 2) it wouldn't be loss-less right? Bluetooth is not powerful enough for that signal strength?

With the Bluetooth Streaming to Bluesound, the source can be any Bluetooth 4.0 device. The WiMP apps on your Desktop or Phone should both be fine.

The sound might not be represented in lossless quality, as the device sending the digital audio to your Bluesound player may downgrade the stream quality for transmission.
