Dolby atmos with Soundbar+ & projector
AnsweredHi,
I'm trying to figure out the best way to set up a new home theater with a projector & Dobly atmos audio whilst minimizing the number of wires going across my living room, especially between the projector in the back of the room & soundbar in the front of the room.
My leading hypothesis to achieve this:
1. Purchase Bluesound Soundbar+ & 2 Pulse Flexes / M's and create a fixed group
2. Connect projector to an Apple TV with an HDMI
3. Stream dolby atmos audio from Apple TV to Bluesound home theater with Airplay and...
4. Simultaneously use the HDMI to output video to the projector.
Would this setup work or is there a better alternative?
Many thanks in advance!

Consider a Bluesound HUB connected to the projector and group it to the SOUNDBAR. You will not get DOLBY this way but many projectors do not support DOLBY, admittedly unsure about this one.
Only other option is an HDMI Balun kit to run a single hidden cable. Your Bluesound Authorised Reseller can help with either solution.

when I use my projector with pulse soundbar + I use a hd fury arcana to get atmos to it
https://www.hdfury.com/product/4k-arcana-18gbps/
ATV to arcana, arcana has 2 hdmi outs, one to soundbar and one to PJ
You can get airplay from atv to soundbar with a projector but I am sure it is not atmos
