Bluesound Node output modes
Hello,
I have a question about NODE's output modes.
If I connect 2 outputs in the same time:
#1 The Analog Stereo RCA output TO integrated Amplifier and
#2 The TOSLINK digital optical TO Powered speakers
Can I switch (with app or remote) between those 2 modes? In both cases I would like to stream music via "Tidal Connect" with my Android phone into the NODE.
So, will I be able to select to which output the music to be sent? Output #1 will be sent to Amp + passive speakers and #2 output will be send to powered speakers.
Thanks

Official comment
There is no setting to enable/disable output, they are all "live", except if you enable USB output. That will disable any other output.

Thanks for the comment. So I understand that if I want to listen to one of the outputs (RCA or Optical) I just have to Switch OFF the other one, e.g.. the Amplifier or the Powered speakers.
One more thing, can you confirm that the NODE supports Tidal Connect? But Not via the BlueOS app, so I can just directly stream from my Android Phone via the Tidal Android App.
Thanks

Yes BluOS Supports TIDAL Connect; https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/19454479226391

Hi, thanks for the confirmation.

You can have both connected at the same time, I did that into my DAC, then just changed the input on the DAC to compare the sound, RCA was better than optical on my system.
