+1. This is a 'must have' feature. I am considering purchasing some Bluesound Pulse units but without this feature this is non-starter. The whole point here is to share music and playlists between my 4 family members. If we have to create our own playlists on iPad/iPhone then this is slow, cumbersome and does not promote easy sharing. The ability to import M3U playlists (and export created playlists as M3U files) is essential. I do hope this is a feature that will appear soon; until then I cannot commit to a purchase :-(

This is critical for me as well. The Bluesound UI is cumbersome to recreate all of my playlists. In my view the IOS and Windows APP needs a lot of work. Granted these are first release versions but it is a shame to have great hardware and then the front end user experience does not match the engineering of the hardware

Playlist creation is really inefficient in Bluesound app. This is really critical feature. I wish I could just import the play list from my computer. The Product Manager at BlueSound needs to rethink the whole play list experience.

    Hi Gordon

This is a bit of an older thread. M3U Playlist importing was introduced in later 2015. This past spring iTunes Playlist imports was added. If you are having problems with Playlists being imported during the Rebuild Index process, please select Help, Send Support Request so we may review your Player's log file.

I've tried modifying m3u playlists with very limited success. It should be much easier to use playlists from other sources without having to jump through hoops! I'm learning to navigate the app, but WOW, it should be much easier.

"Tony W" it sounds like you don't get it.

To modify a playlist, you have to:

    • clear the play cue (stop playing any music)
    • load the playlist
    • edit the content
    • re-save the playlist

Most people would agree that this is "hokey".

Stating that you can "import" (not "export") is just argumentative.
