Change distance speaker in Home Theatre Group
AnsweredHi all,
In "Settings" / "Home Theatre Group" you see all the speakers in the group. When you select one of them you can change some settings, I think that the option to change the distance to the speakers would be a good option there.
Also when you setup the Home Theatre Group it is asking for the distance to the speakers in the group. You are using this to setup the group. There must be an possibility to use this in the place where I suggested it.
In "Settings" / "Audio" you can change "Left/Right Surround Trim" but not the distance. I think a lot of people prefer to have the option to change the distance as well.
I know the work around is to remove the group and recreated it you can set the distance but that is not ideal.
Thanks George

Hi George
Home Theatre Grouping is a Set it and Forget it setup... it is not often you would be moving the location of the rear speakers. If you are moving the speakers, then yes you must delete and recreate the group.

Hello Tony,
Yes, most of the time you do not need it. Only in the beginning you move them around to get the best surround. Then it is very useful that you can change the distance and not have to delete and recreate the group.
So the option to change the distances is then very useful and I think the adjustment in the software are not major.
