Spotify on Windows BluOS App
AnsweredI have Qobuz, Library, etc listed in the Sources column, but how can I add Spotify? I've registered with Spotify and downloaded their App, so I can play music from the Spotify App to my M33, but I want to use BluOS direct. Thanks

Hi Peter
Spotify Connect is how Spotify works and is their approved API. Spotify in general does not have direct access in BluOS or other third party streaming devices. See https://connect.spotify.com/ for more details.

Spotify used to work on BluOs. I used it before, and I did not use Connect. It was similar to Deezer and Tidal. Looks like that has changed.

Hi Ray
You are mistaken. Spotify Connect has been the only method to use Spotify since launched on BluOS in 2014. Bluesound is proud to be the first multiroom system to use Spotify Connect.

I'm not. I used Spotify in 2022, never used Connect.

Curious how you manage that on a Bluesound player. Magic?

I used same as Deezer, Tidal and Qobuz. My old iPad could not even handle Connect.
I'm not talking about now.
I never used Spotify connect, only the BluOs App.
