Bluesound app stuck on fixed volume NAD M50.2

Hi, I bought RC1 controller for my father as xmas gift, but we had problems accessing volume control as the software says the selected player is set to fixed volume. I tried factory resetting the M50.2 and reinstalled BLUOS app but no luck. Is this a feature or a bug? I didn't find any option to change the volume. The controller loses half of its purpose if you cant change the volume. Please help!

  Hi Mikko.

  NAD M50.2 does not provide any variable volume functionality since it was designed as a digital transporter. Turning volume up and down would affect the sound quality of the M50.2 output, and it is preferred to adjust volume through the systems preamplifier/integrated amplifier.
