Soundbar (HT) and 2.0 stereo
Actually I'm looking for a solution that is best of both worlds. For the family a soundbar (HT) for movies, series and Spotify and for me 2.0 hi-res audio from front speakers. For the family it's pretty straight forward; soundbar+sub+rears (flex2i) & 2 or 3 multiroom speakers. But can I connect 2 additional fronts (Pulse 2i) for 2.0 or do I need an extra node for that and if so can I combine the node with the soundbar? In addition: do I need a streamer like Vault to connect the NAS (music & videos)

The combination of the Soundbar+ with subwoofer and rears offers a lot of value for music and movies especially when space is limited. You can add two Pulse speakers in a stereo configuration, but they won't be part of the HT solution.
I would like to suggest you another solution though. You can buy the Powernode (N330) and just add a pair of speakers of your choice (I can recommend PSB or DALI). The Powernode can also be used with a pair of Flex 2i as rear speakers and you can add a subwoofer too. The Powernode offers you the same HDMI eARC input found on the Soundbar+ for easy TV operation.
All BluOS players are able of see a NAS with music, no need for an additional streamer.

Thanks for your reply Morten.
The main reason for wanting to switch to a soundbar is because the sound of the tv is not good and the use of the current set-up is to complicated for the other family members and I don't want the hole system on while just watching tv. So trading in my Marantz/Monitor Audio set-up for Bluesound with similar features is not an option. (Except for the speakers being wireless)
So the best alternative would be adding 2 separate Pulse speakers 🤔0
