Soundbar + with subwoofer
AnsweredI have bought a cambridge subwoofer for my powernode and it sounds really nice with it, volume of subwoofer is set to 50% and blends nicely.
I tested the sub with my pulse soundbar+ and it does not sound good to me in the same way.
The volume of the sub has to be dropped to about 10% not 50% and still sounds too loud and does not seem to blend in.
The sub out on the app is at minimum too.
Has anyone else found the same using the subout rca from pulse soundbar or any suggestions?

For the soundbar + we apply a required Dolby headroom requirement for the upmixer. It will drop sub trim effect a bit but is there for the times when Dolby says the big boom is necessary.

Thanks for the reply.
Someone on reddit said when they used the bluesound wireless sub it sounded good when connected via wifi, but loud and distorted when wired to the soundbar+, does this make any sense.
I will probably not bother with a sub for now I guess with the soundbar, as I mentioned it sounds great with the powernode but not good at all on the soundbar :0( It sounded really poor with music on the soundbar.

HI James
In the Setup Documentation to the SUB+ it suggests to set the PULSE SUB+ volume to 9 if using a network pairing connection but set it to 5 when using a direct COAX connection so reddit theory is correct but likely someone missed that in the documentation...
