Thanks for the feedback but it won't happen. BluOS Players do not allow for bypass as multiroom playback is THE core functionality of all BluOS Players. This delay occurs in most multiroom playback systems. Bluesound does take pride that this delay is amongst the shortest delays of any multiroom sync system.

    Thanks for understanding.

Hi Seppi, I totally understand this and have no complaints about delay in multiroom scenarios. However, if I only want to connect my turntable through the analog input and have it play only through the speaker output of the one Powernode, I do not understand, why it cannot act as most other amplifiers do in that scenario: No delay! I think there should be an option to toggle the multiroom mode on/off. This should be a software issue and fixable through a software update i.m.o. Or am I wrong in this assumption?

    Could you elaborate on that?

I use Bluesound Powernode on Optical with LS50 Meta. It would be great if you could in the future let us disable the multiroom functions to reduce the 50ms latency.

Appreciate your work in creating this product and other offerings. But it would help a great ton if Bluesound and other products from other companies that used BluOS disclosed that there will be a delay with the multiroom setup.

None of the reviewers such as Andrew Robinson, Darko Audio, Obsessed Garage have noted this downfall. In a way it is very misleading and leads to a sour taste to many new buyers such as myself. I will be looking to get off this ecosystem and just cut my losses.

    Hello there,

I would like to add something that might be worth considering by the Bluesound development team.

I’m a very happy Node user with regards to music. However, the 50ms delay is not acceptable for TV viewing. I’m not interested in multi room functionality.

I’m considering a Powernode for my other home. However, this delay and Bluesound’s trenchant attitude towards this issue is veering me towards other competitive all-in-one devices, such as Kef LSX II LT, which is approx £100 more but also includes very good speakers, or even the Cambridge Evo 75, which is a few hundred pounds more but does NOT have this delay issue.

You are losing customers over this. Please impress this upon the decision makers. It is an easy fix. I know this.

    Thank you,
    Scot

The 50ms is actually quite low as another popular multi room systems delay is 75ms.

That is true, but said competitor doesn't have a delay on the HDMI ARC input. Does this apply to Bluesound as well?

I have a Multiroom System with 4 Bluesound Product and for DJing I wanted to use one Pulse with the analog inpud! This is impossible and really sucks!! You just can´t beatmatch with a 50ms delay. That was really not apparent when buying this product!

I am currently thinking about purchasing a new stereo receiver and want to pair it with a Bluesound Node (Icon).

However, the 50ms delay is a potential deal breaker for me since I want to integrate my TV into the system ...

I really hope there will be software solution to this problem in the near future.

It is super annoying when gaming, got a little used to it for regular video but for gaming I’ll resort to TV sound or wired headphones on a different amp.

It makes no sense to have it enabled when no other BluOS products are used at all, or not linked in the same group.
Had I known I would have skipped the M33, and certainly won’t replace it with a new BluOS products,
