Endless Upgrades

You upgraded to a new version of Desktop for Windows Node app just weeks ago (couldn't see anything other than cosmetics) Now we have the fourth upgrade to that.  can you please build in option to turn off message on boot up?  I have never found any improvement in functionality with any of these endless upgrades.

  Some muck up your player. Wish I had not upgraded. Had no end of problems in the last month, it was working fine before that. No problems for 18 months.
